DCE (Delhi College of Engineering)

With a history stretching back over 65 years, providing technical education with a modern educational environment and strong academic staff, DCE is strongly identified for engineering education in India. Since its inception and foundation, DCE has constantly lead the way in reform movements, and in the latter era of the Republic of India, DCE has assumed pivotal roles in the reconstruction, modernization, and administration of the society. The efforts and expertise of DCE graduates have been major contributors in the planning and construction of India’s infrastructure.

The aim of DCE is to rank itself among leading universities globally. Consequently, DCE ’s mission is to educate individuals to be competitive not only in India, but also all over the world. Within an intensely competitive environment, the college has adopted a dynamic, global, high-quality; creative and communicative approach in education, as well as in research and development. Keeping abreast with modern developments, DCE is constantly restructuring itself and renovating its physical infrastructure as well as its research and education facilities.

NSIT

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), erstwhile Delhi Institute of Technology (DIT), was established in 1983 to meet the growing demand of skilled manpower in the fields of emerging areas of engineering and technology. It is an administratively autonomous institution, affiliated to the University of Delhi and is fully funded by Government of Delhi. Within a span of twenty-five years the Institute has carved a niche as a center for excellence in technical education and research.

The institute functions a sprawling campus extending over an area of 145 acres from South West districts of New Delhi. It is beautifully laid out, clean, environment friendly and pollution free.

ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR DCE/NSIT

It is notified for the information of the candidates, desirous to seek admission in Delhi Technological University that the University shall conduct its own Counseling for Delhi & Outside Delhi seats in respect of 14 B.Tech. full time programmes including 10 programmes of the erstwhile DCE on the basis of merit rank of All India Engineering Entrance Examination - 2010 (AIEEE-2010), to be conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi.
